Quickly become an expert on how eye exams are done, different kind of eye exams, and general pricing for all of these or they will treat you like you're an idiot who should already know all of this and demand you pay for what they have coerced you into.

They'll then be unwilling to discuss your concerns about how you are being treated and how confusing everything has been. Truly a terrible experience with zero transparency or customer service.
